THE BOOTH
The Portrait Booth
VINTAGE • RETRO MODERN • OPEN AIR • GLAM BOOTH
Every detail of our vintage-styled portrait booth was chosen for one reason: to look as beautiful sitting still as the photos it takes. Whether you're searching for a vintage photo booth rental, a retro modern glam booth, or an open-air portrait experience, it's all the same booth — hand-built from real oak, fitted with professional-grade photography equipment, and finished with a design that feels like part of the décor, not a rented machine parked in the corner of the room.

QUIET LUXURY
Hand-Built, Real Oak, Made to Last
The booth's frame is hand-crafted from solid oak, built in America rather than mass-produced overseas. Every joint, panel, and finish reflects real woodworking — the kind of craftsmanship that shows up in the photos themselves, since your backdrop starts with the booth itself.
It's a piece of furniture first, a camera second. That's an intentional choice: a booth built from real wood settles into a vineyard, a historic mill, or a modern ballroom the same way a well-chosen piece of décor would — never the awkward plastic box tucked in the corner, always part of the scene.
WHAT'S INSIDE
Studio-Grade Technology, Vintage Presentation
Underneath the oak finish is equipment chosen the way a professional photography studio would choose it — not the entry-level gear common to most rental booths.

CAMERA
Canon EOS R100 DSLR
A true DSLR at the heart of the booth, not a webcam or tablet camera dressed up to look fancy. It's the difference between a snapshot and an actual portrait.

LIGHTING
Godox Compact Flash
Consistent, flattering studio lighting regardless of the time of day or a venue's ambient light — no washed-out faces, no harsh shadows, indoors or out.

GUEST DISPLAY
iPad Pro Capture Screen
The screen your guests actually use — posing, previewing, and printing through a smooth, responsive iPad Pro interface, no clunky touchscreen lag.

SECONDARY DISPLAY
15.9" Touchscreen
A second screen facing outward from the booth, able to run a live gallery of photos as they're taken, feature your engagement photos, or display your event's logo — the booth double as a welcome sign.
WHERE THE PORTRAIT BOOTH BELONGS
Built for Fredericksburg's Most Beautiful Venues
Rivanne is based in Spotsylvania, right next to Fredericksburg's historic downtown, and as a new name in the local wedding community, we're especially excited about the venues nearby where our booth's vintage character would feel completely at home.
A PERFECT MATCH
Brides Booking The Silk Mill
Exposed brick, wooden beams, and industrial-Victorian details make The Silk Mill one of our favorite settings to imagine the booth in. If you're getting married at The Silk Mill, we'd love to bring the booth to your day — the warmth of real oak against that historic brickwork is exactly the kind of pairing we built this booth for.
Historic Downtown Fredericksburg
718 Venue
With its revitalized exposed-brick facade and tin ceiling right on Caroline Street, 718 Venue is the kind of space where a hand-built wooden booth looks right at home rather than out of place — historic charm meeting historic charm.
Barn & Outdoor Venues
Belle's Pleasure · Riverside Weddings by Clore · Arbor Haven Weddings
Real wood belongs around real wood. Barn and outdoor venues like these give the booth room to breathe — set up under open sky or inside a timber-framed barn, it reads like it was always meant to be there. On days when the weather cooperates, this is where the booth truly shines.
RIGHT IN OUR BACKYARD
Couples Booking Eden Try Winery
A 12-acre vineyard estate in our own Spotsylvania County, Eden Try pairs a restored barn with grapevine and garden backdrops — the kind of setting where warm oak and soft studio light feel like they've always belonged. If Eden Try is your venue, we'd love to bring the booth to the vines.
Modern & Luxury Venues
REIGN THE VENUE
For a venue built around sleek, modern elegance like Reign, we'd style the booth with a baroque-style drape backdrop from our collection — the contrast of ornate, old-world drapery against clean modern lines is exactly the kind of styling moment we love designing for.
Charlottesville Wine Country
THE FOOTHILLS OF THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
Charlottesville's wineries and vineyard-style venues are a natural fit for a wooden portrait booth — barrel rooms, rolling vine rows, and golden-hour light all pair beautifully with real oak and warm studio lighting.
FOR LOCAL BUSINESS
A Brand Activation, Right on Caroline Street
If you haven't heard the term before, a brand activation is simply a live, in-person moment that gets people talking about your business — not an ad they scroll past, but an experience they stop for. Setting the booth up outside your storefront turns ordinary foot traffic into something more: a reason to pause, a photo worth sharing, and a new customer who found you because a friend posted from right outside your door.
Downtown Fredericksburg is one of the best settings in the region for this. With no chain stores or franchises allowed, the entire 40-block historic district is built on independently owned shops, restaurants, and galleries — the kind of businesses that grow through community connection, not national ad budgets. A booth set up along Caroline Street's brick sidewalks fits right into that landscape, especially during downtown's extended evening shopping events, when the street is already full of people looking for something to do.
For a local business, the booth does three things at once: it draws foot traffic by giving passersby a reason to stop rather than walk by, it captures emails and contact information from people who might never have signed up for anything otherwise, and it gives your already-loyal customers something fun to share — turning a regular visit into a moment worth posting, tagging, and coming back for.
